The best Social Marketing Strategies are…

To Give what you want!

Every day I see people online asking… What are the best Social Marketing Strategies? And what a lot of them are really saying is…

Why can’t I just spam everyone on Facebook, Twitter and their blogs and have them come rushing over and buy my product’s and services?  The reason it doesn’t work is because people are fed up with the whole being bombarded with advertising phenomena.

The old days of interrupting them long enough to get their attention with the hope of being able to sell them something are all but over. It’s going to take a little more effort than on your behalf , especially on Social sites like Facebook.

All right then Beanie, how do we go about it? Well as usual all you need to do is think back to what your Mum taught you as a kid! What goes around comes around, so the best social marketing strategy that I can suggest to you is to…..

Give what you want!

Oh yeah BTW, it isn’t all bad news. In fact for those of us that are willing to put the time and effort in, the rewards in the future are going to be huge. Social sites like Facebook don’t have to take up much of your time at all, in fact you would be surprised at just how easy it is to integrate it into your every day life. Particularly if you have an iPhone!

If you are interested in learning more about how to integrate Social Marketing Strategies, into your every day work schedule. You can book a consultation with me where I can point you in the right direction!

Cheers Beanie

Oh soooo true Adam! There are just way too many people who focus purely on “Buy My Stuff” and are way to focused on selling. There are a lot of people who forget or don’t realise there’s a key word in Social Media Marketing and in Social Networking and that’s SOCIAL.
You’ve shared some great tips and reminders for anyone and everyone who is either using social media or is thinking of tapping into it.
PS… Wanted to say thank you for being social and dropping by my blog yesterday and commenting there as well. You sure do practice what you preach and love it! Don’t you just love finding other blogs who have CommentLuv enabled as it makes it that much easier to get social with those who leave comments on your blog. Especially when they blog about things that are of similar interest to yourself.

You are spot on Chris, they are called “Social” sites for a reason, my favorite way to teach people how to use them is I tell them to pretend they are at a BBQ relaxing with their friends. Take that mindset across to your “Social” pages and you can’t go wrong. Thank you for stopping by and commenting, it was my pleasure to come to your blog, learn and comment as well.

You’re welcome Adam and thank you too. Funny you should say BBQ as I host a monthly business networking BBQ at my place and they’re definitely a great way to network as it’s such a relaxed atmosphere to network in and to get to know each other better and to find out more about what everyone does.

So if you take that same approach online your really can’t go too wrong. It’s simply a matter of mixing up your social messages and not just broadcasting. Mixing social, sharing with a little bit of selling is a great way to make the most of social media and what it can do for you and your business too.

Hi Adam, I’m agree with you. In these social sites you need to provide useful info to your followers, friends, etc. They will love you because you are always help them, and if they need your product or service, they will buy it with no hesitation 🙂

Hey Jose you are spot on, the better the connection you can make with your market, the more trust you will build. Which in turn becomes sales. Thanks for stopping by and commenting. Beanie
